NUKEMAP Bombing results Opener:

From the "Fat Man" Nagasaki bomb with a yield of 20 kt dropped in Paris, France, there was a maximum size of the nuclear fireball radius of 200 m. If it touches the ground, there will be a significant increase in the radioactive fallout. The air blast radius reaches 20 psi over pressure, heavily damaging and eliminating the concrete buildings, and resulting in a fatality rate of 100%. The radiation radius is at about 500 rem radiation dose. There may be from 50-90% fatality with no medical treatment; which can kill anywhere from days to weeks. The thermal radiation radius is one of third degree burns and are often painless because they destroy the pain nerves. They can cause severe scarring and disablement, as well as requiring amputation.
